Crash on U.S. 67 in St. Francois County Sends One to Hospital

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A two-vehicle crash in St. Francois County Thursday afternoon resulted in moderate injuries for one driver.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 4:23 p.m. on March 19, 2026 on northbound U.S. 67 at the intersection with Highway JJ.

The patrol reports a 2006 Honda Odyssey, driven by a 68-year-old man from De Soto, failed to yield while entering the roadway and pulled into the path of a northbound 2025 Honda Accord driven by a 24-year-old man from Overland Park, Kansas.

The front of the Accord struck the side of the Odyssey in the intersection.

Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene.

The driver of the Odyssey, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment.

The driver of the Accord was wearing a seatbelt and was not reported injured.
