Desloge Man Arrested After Early Morning Crash in Jefferson County

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Desloge man was arrested Tuesday morning after crashing his vehicle along Route T in Jefferson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 39-year-old Jonathan Sitkowski was driving a 2022 Ram 3500 when the crash occurred around 7:58 a.m. at 17537 Route T. Troopers say the truck had moderate damage along the driver’s side and front after striking several trees. However, investigators noted it was unclear how the vehicle left the roadway, as no distinct path off the road was visible for about two miles in either direction. Sitkowski sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment.

While at the hospital, troopers arrested him on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was later released from custody.
