Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - A Desloge man is facing 18 felony charges following an investigation into alleged sexual abuse involving a juvenile victim.
According to the Desloge Police Department, officers received a report on April 2, 2026, concerning allegations of sexual abuse. Police say the report involved a juvenile victim, and the case was also reported through a hotline to the Children’s Division of the Missouri Department of Social Services.
Investigators say information gathered during the case alleged the abuse had been occurring over the last three to four years. Through the course of the investigation, authorities identified a suspect and took 32-year-old James Lee Hall of Desloge into custody.
Police say further evidence developed during the investigation corroborated the allegations. Coordination between investigators with the Desloge Police Department and the St. Francois County Prosecutor’s Office ultimately led to formal charges being filed.
Hall has been charged with first-degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape involving a person less than 14 years of age, nine counts of incest, two counts of first-degree child molestation and second-degree statutory rape, four counts of second-degree child molestation involving an aggravated sexual offense with a child less than 17 years of age and greater than four years younger, and an additional count of second-degree statutory rape.
In total, prosecutors pursued 18 charges connected to the allegations. Court records indicate the charging court issued a no-bond warrant.
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
