Desloge Teen Arrested on Child Sex Crime Charges Following State Investigation

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) has arrested 18-year-old Michael S. Dunivan of Desloge for multiple child sex crimes following an investigation by the DDCC Special Victims Unit (SVU), with assistance from the Desloge Police Department.

According to the Highway Patrol, the investigation began in September 2025 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sent a CyberTip indicating that an online user had uploaded child pornography. SVU investigators traced the activity and identified Dunivan as the suspect. On October 8, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in St. Francois County, where they interviewed Dunivan and seized evidence of child pornography. He was taken into custody and transported to the St. Francois County Jail.

The St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney formally charged Dunivan on October 9 with three felony counts of possession of child pornography and one felony count of promoting child pornography.

He is being held in the St. Francois County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
