St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Farmington man was injured Wednesday afternoon after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree along Missouri 221 in St. Francois County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:47 p.m. on June 3 near Shy Road.
Troopers reported that a southbound 2013 Jeep Wrangler traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck two bridge warning signs, and then collided with a tree.
The driver, a 51-year-old Farmington man, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. He was transported by the St. Francois County Ambulance District to Parkland Health Center in Farmington for treatment.
The Jeep was totaled in the collision and was removed from the scene.
