Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Farmington Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred in the early morning hours on Wednesday on the southwest side of the city.
According to officials, multiple vehicles were entered and several items were stolen, including firearms. Officers quickly began gathering evidence, using video from residential Ring cameras and community CCTV systems to identify the suspects and their vehicle.
A “stop and hold” alert was issued to surrounding agencies. With assistance from the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect vehicle was located and stopped on southbound U.S. 67 near Karsch Boulevard. Three individuals were taken into custody as persons of interest and transported for questioning.
Police say additional information will be released as the investigation continues.
