Farmington Water Valve Replacement to Cause Temporary Outage Wednesday

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Farmington Water Department will replace a main line water valve near Maple Valley Center on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. The work will require water service to be shut off to several businesses.

The project will require water service to be shut off from approximately 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., impacting several businesses in the shopping center and along Maple Valley Drive.

Addresses affected include:

Market Street (inside Maple Valley Shopping Center): 740, 746, 750, 752, 754, 758, 762, 764, 766, 770, 774, 778, 786, 790, and 798

Maple Valley Drive: 751, 753, 755, and 763

City officials say the areas outlined in red on the attached map will be without service during the work. They apologize for the inconvenience and thank residents and businesses for their patience while crews complete the replacement.
