Fenton Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges Following State Investigation

Fenton, Mo. (KFMO) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) has announced the arrest of 31-year-old Cooper A. Rodman, of Fenton, following an investigation into the possession of child pornography.

According to the Highway Patrol, the arrest stemmed from an investigation conducted by the agency’s Special Victims Unit (SVU). Assistance was provided by the Missouri Digital Forensic Center and the Missouri State Technical Assistance Team.

Investigators say they began an online operation in May 2026 targeting individuals suspected of sharing child sexual abuse material over the internet. During the investigation, authorities identified an IP address associated with Rodman that was allegedly storing child sexual abuse material.

On June 9, 2026, SVU investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Fenton. During the search, investigators interviewed Rodman regarding the possession of child pornography. Authorities reported locating videos containing child pornography on electronic devices found at the residence.

Rodman was arrested and transported to the St. Louis County Jail. Following the investigation, a probable cause statement was submitted to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors have formally charged Rodman with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He is currently being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $75,000 bond while the case proceeds through the court system.

As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
