Bismarck, Mo. (KFMO) - At 10:49 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, the Bismarck Fire Protection District was dispatched to a reported garage fire on Grinder Road in St. Francois County.
Crews arrived to find a working fire and quickly deployed two attack lines, successfully extinguishing the blaze. The swift response prevented further damage to the property.
Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, including the Irondale, Leadwood, Farmington, Leadington, Desloge, Park Hills, and Pilot Knob Fire Departments, as well as the St. Francois County Ambulance District.
The Missouri Division of Fire Safety was contacted and responded to investigate the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
