Hovis Farm Road to Close Thursday for Culvert Replacement in Park Hills

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Drivers traveling through Park Hills will need to plan for a temporary road closure Thursday as the City of Park Hills Public Works Department completes a culvert replacement project on Hovis Farm Road.

Beginning at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, July 30, crews will replace a culvert pipe on Hovis Farm Road, requiring the road to be closed to through traffic at Main Street.

Residents who need to access Hovis Farm Road during the project will be able to do so by using Wood Street.

City officials say they hope to complete the work within a few hours. However, the project could take up to a full day depending on weather and work conditions.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and slow down when traveling near the construction area to ensure the safety of workers and other drivers.
