IDA Donates $10,000 to Support Mineral Area College Enhancement Grant

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) has awarded a $10,000 donation to the Mineral Area College Enhancement Grant, providing a significant boost to the college’s ongoing efforts to support students and strengthen academic programs.

The Enhancement Grant is funded through contributions from MAC employees, community partners, and local organizations. The grant helps improve classroom resources, expand training equipment, support student scholarships, and create new learning opportunities that align with regional workforce demands. College officials say the IDA’s donation demonstrates continued community support for MAC’s mission to prepare students for careers in the Parkland and surrounding areas. The grant matches $3 for every $1 MAC raises.
