John Thomas Memorial Scholarship Picnic Set for Saturday in Farmington

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The annual John Thomas Memorial Scholarship Picnic is taking place this Saturday, September 27, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran School in Farmington.

The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will feature barbecue, sides, live music, a cornhole tournament, and activities for all ages.

Sarah Folk says the picnic not only brings the community together for food and fun, but also serves a greater purpose, supporting the John Thomas Scholarship Fund at St. Paul Lutheran High School. She expalins who Thomas was. 

The scholarship helps provide Christ-centered education to deserving students, with all proceeds from the event going directly to the fund.
