St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Farmington man convicted by a St. Francois County jury on multiple felony sex offenses will remain behind bars pending sentencing.
According to court documents, a bond review hearing was held Monday, July 6. During the hearing, the court denied Jackie Patterson's request to set bond, meaning he will remain in custody.
Patterson was convicted on June 23 following a jury trial that lasted more than a week. Jurors found him guilty on two counts of first-degree statutory rape and eight counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, while acquitting him on several other charges.
Following the guilty verdicts, the court revoked Patterson's bond and ordered him held pending further proceedings.
His sentencing hearing remains scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in St. Francois County Circuit Court. Court records indicate a sentence assessment report has been ordered prior to sentencing.
