Law Enforcement Operation Leads to Arrest Near State Highways A and 185

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Franklin County SWAT Team, executed a search warrant Thursday morning near the intersection of State Highway A and State Highway 185.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Andrew Glisson, who was wanted on multiple active felony warrants. Authorities say officers deployed O.C. gas and flashbang devices after individuals inside the residence refused to come out. Glisson had reportedly been the source of several disturbances in the northern part of Washington County.

The Sheriff’s Office acknowledged that the operation caused traffic delays and inconvenience for drivers in the area and thanked the public for their patience.

Officials emphasized that the tactics used were necessary to ensure the safety of officers, the public, and everyone involved in the situation.
