Leadwood Fire Protection District Reports Increase in January Calls

Leadwood, Mo. (KFMO) - The Leadwood Fire Protection District responded to 46 calls for service during the month of January, marking an increase from 39 calls during the same month in 2025.

According to the district, calls included fire assists, move-ups, medical calls, an accident, investigations, and both brush and structure fires.

In addition to emergency responses, members of the Leadwood Fire Protection District logged a combined 649 hours in training and station time throughout the month, highlighting ongoing efforts to remain prepared and maintain readiness to serve the community.
