Marquand Woman Injured in Madison County ATV Crash

Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Marquand woman was moderately injured Sunday afternoon in an ATV crash in Madison County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 1:15 p.m. on County Road 9341, about a half-mile south of Marquand. Troopers say a 63-year-old woman from Marquand was driving a southbound 2022 Kawasaki Brute Force ATV when it ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned.

The Highway Patrol reports she was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash. She sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

The ATV sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
