Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy Celebrates Class 25-112 Graduates

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy recognized the graduates of Class 25-112 during a ceremony held this week at the Cardinal Center.

Thirteen cadets completed the program and were honored for reaching a major milestone in their law enforcement careers.Mineral Area College President Dr. Joe Gilgour addressed those in attendance, highlighting the commitment and courage required of those entering the profession.

He noted that ceremonies like this offer a reminder of the individuals who are prepared to run toward danger when others may be seeking safety.

The ceremony also featured a keynote address from Chief Michael Gum of the Potosi Police Department, who congratulated the graduates and encouraged them as they prepare to begin serving their communities across the region.
