Mineral Area Elks Complete $10,000 in Community Grants

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - The Mineral Area Elks have made another donation to support local organizations, completing a total of $10,000 in community grants.

Exalted Ruler Louie Seiberlich says the funding was awarded by lodge members through the Elks National Foundation, continuing the group’s commitment to helping area residents.

In addition to the most recent donation, grants were also awarded to Camp Hope, the East Missouri Action Agency for food baskets, and the four food pantries serving St. Francois County.

Elks officials say the grants are intended to provide direct assistance to families and individuals in need across the Parkland.
