Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Missourians have until this Sunday, December 7, to make changes to their Medicare Part C and Part D plans as the annual open enrollment period comes to a close.
This is the final chance for current Medicare enrollees to adjust their coverage for next year. For switching your Part D drug plan, this is the time of year you can make changes. Once December 7 happens, then you are in what you’re in for the coming year. Fall open enrollment, which began October 15, is by far the busiest time of year for Missouri SHIP.
Open enrollment contains about 40% of activity for the whole year. While the current enrollment window ends Sunday, a separate Medicare Advantage open enrollment period runs from January 1 through March 31.
