Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Late-Night Crash Near Farmington

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Farmington man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash just after midnight Wednesday in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 12:23 a.m. on Hillsboro Road near Mary Road. Troopers say a 38-year-old man was driving a 2004 Honda motorcycle eastbound when he failed to maintain his lane and ran off the right side of the roadway. He was ejected from the motorcycle. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered serious injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington for treatment.

The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
