Park Hills Announces Ward 2 Bulk Trash Pickup for Week of June 8

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Park Hills is reminding Ward 2 residents about its scheduled bulk trash pickup service taking place during the week of June 8, 2026.

Residents wishing to participate must pay a $10 fee and complete registration by Friday, June 5. All items must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. Monday morning of the pickup week.

City officials note that collections may not begin on Monday due to the city's double trash route. However, crews will have until Friday of that week to complete pickups for everyone who has registered.

Items can be placed out beginning the weekend before collection starts, but residents are reminded that crews will make only one stop per address. Once a pickup has been completed, crews will not return for additional items placed out later.

The city has established several guidelines for the program:

  • Maximum total weight per stop is one-half ton.
  • No individual item may exceed 250 pounds.
  • Appliances containing Freon must have compressors removed before pickup.
  • Materials must be placed curbside only. No alley or side-street pickups will be made.
  • Vegetative matter, tires, batteries, hazardous materials, and construction debris will not be accepted.

Residents who are unsure which ward they live in can contact Park Hills City Hall at 573-431-3577.

Additional guidelines and the complete 2026 bulk pickup schedule are available through the city's garbage services information.
