Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Independence Day celebrations are set for Saturday, July 4, in Park Hills, bringing an evening of music, family activities, and a large fireworks display to the Park Hills Sports Complex.
The event kicks off at 7p .m. with live entertainment from PartyPro Disc Jockeys, who will provide a high-energy mix of music for attendees leading up to the fireworks show at dusk.
Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the evening comfortably. Coolers are permitted, but organizers remind attendees that alcohol is not allowed on site.
The fireworks display is expected to be one of the largest in the region, lighting up the sky as part of the community’s Independence Day celebration.
Officials also note that any weather-related updates will be posted on the Park Hills Parks & Recreation Facebook page.
As part of the holiday schedule, city offices will be closed on Friday, July 3. Trash collection normally scheduled for that day will be delayed and picked up on Monday, July 6.
Residents are invited to come out and celebrate with friends, family, music, and fireworks as Park Hills marks America’s Independence Day.
