Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO - Residents in Park Hills should take note of important updates to the city’s Fire Tag program as 2026 renewals approach.
The City of Park Hills has announced changes to Fire Tag types, pricing, and renewal procedures. Fire Tags are required annually and will expire on May 31, 2026.
Under the updated ordinance, new Fire Tag categories have been introduced, including classifications for farming land and multi-family properties. City officials say the changes are designed to better reflect different property types across the community.
In addition to updated classifications and pricing, residents now have more convenient ways to renew their Fire Tags. For the first time, an online payment option is available, joining existing methods of renewal by mail or in person at City Hall.
Late fees will begin to apply after July 1, making it important for residents to complete their renewals on time.
City leaders are encouraging residents to review the updated Fire Tag ordinance and 2026 renewal notice before purchasing a tag to ensure they select the correct classification.
Residents can find full details on the city’s website or contact Park Hills City Hall at 573-431-3577 with any questions regarding Fire Tag classifications, pricing, or the renewal process.
