Route 143 in Iron County to Close for Culvert Replacement

Iron Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Drivers in Iron County should plan for limited access along Route 143 as the Missouri Department of Transportation schedules a culvert replacement project.

The work will take place on Route 143 between County Road 161 and County Road 163 near Des Arc. During construction, the roadway will be closed to through traffic but will remain open for local residents.

According to MoDOT, the project is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. Motorists traveling through the area are encouraged to seek alternate routes and use caution near the work zone.
