St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Drivers in St. Francois County should expect lane reductions along Route 67 as contractor crews begin pavement repairs and resurfacing. The project will stretch from Route 221 in Farmington to the Jefferson County line.
Officials say Route 67 will be reduced to one lane only in areas where crews are actively working, not along the entire corridor for the full duration of the project. Work will take place in both the northbound and southbound lanes.
Weather permitting, construction is scheduled to begin Monday, February 23 at 6 a.m., with the project expected to be completed by Sunday, November 1 at 7 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to slow down, watch for work crews, and allow extra travel time through the area.
