Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Saint Francis Mobile Wellness is partnering with First State Community Bank to provide mobile mammogram services in Farmington on Tuesday, November 4.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Saint Francis Clinic, located at 515 Maple Valley Drive. Preventative screenings are available for women age 40 and older who have no current breast health concerns and have not had a mammogram within the past year. Screenings are covered by most insurance plans, including Medicaid.
Those without insurance may qualify for a free screening through the Dig for Life program and the Saint Francis Foundation. Participants are asked to bring a photo ID to their appointment.
In addition to the mobile wellness services, a Mobile Food Pantry and Day of Caring event will begin at 11 a.m. The pantry will provide food, paper products, diapers, wipes, and hygiene kits.
A community lunch, sponsored by Saint Francis and First State Community Bank, will also be served while supplies last.
