Shooting Suspect Arrested and Charged After Firing Into Lakewood Apartments

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 25-year-old Imperial man is facing multiple felony charges following a shooting incident at the Lakewood Apartments in Jefferson County on June 4, 2026.

According to authorities, Lonnie Randall III is charged with two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action after allegedly firing into a crowd of people and an occupied apartment building.

Investigators say the gunfire occurred at the apartment complex but, fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Deputies located Randall shortly after the incident. He was taken into custody without incident. Law enforcement also recovered a firearm believed to have been used in the shooting from the vehicle he was driving at the time of his arrest.

Randall is currently being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail as the case moves forward through the court system.

Authorities have not released additional details about what led up to the shooting.
