Storm Reports Confirm Hail, High Winds, and Power Outages Across Parkland

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Storm reports are coming in after a tornado-warned storm moved through the Parkland Monday evening, bringing hail, damaging winds, and power outages.

According to the National Weather Service, the storm produced hail measuring approximately 1.25 inches in Farmington. In addition, wind gusts reached around 60 miles per hour across St. Francois County.

The storm prompted a tornado warning as it moved through the area, adding to concerns during the evening hours.

Utility crews were also busy responding to outages. Ameren reported nearly 700 customers without power at the peak of the storm, with the hardest-hit area located near Highways D and O.

Crews continue working to restore service as additional storm reports are gathered.
