St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Families across the Parkland will once again have the opportunity to enjoy movies under the stars as the Summer Movie Series returns for the 2026 season.
The series will feature three family-friendly movie nights at community pools in Desloge, Park Hills, and Bonne Terre during late May and early June.
The first event is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Desloge City Pool, where the featured movie will be “Minecraft Movie.” Organizers say the pool will open at 8 p.m. prior to the showing.
The second movie night will take place Friday, June 5 at the Park Hills City Pool with a showing of “Zootopia 2.” That event will begin at sunset.
The final movie in the series will be held Saturday, June 6 at the Bonne Terre City Pool featuring the film “Goat.” Dry seating will also be available for those attending without swimming.
Community leaders say the annual movie series continues to provide a fun and affordable summer activity for families throughout the area while encouraging residents to enjoy local parks and pool facilities.
