Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A head-on collision Saturday night in Jefferson County left three people injured, including a 16-year-old boy.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:35 p.m. on Upper Plattin Road, south of Frissell Road. Troopers say a northbound 2015 GMC Canyon, driven by a 16-year-old from De Soto, crossed the centerline and struck a southbound 2016 Dodge Dart driven by a 27-year-old Farmington woman head-on.
The juvenile driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South. The driver of the Dodge Dart and a 26-year-old male passenger from Cadet both sustained minor injuries and were also taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
The Highway Patrol reports that everyone involved was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
