Unitec Career Center Celebrates New Annex with Open House

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - Unitec Career Center welcomed the community Tuesday evening for a special open house highlighting its student programs, instructors, and student work. The event also featured a ribbon cutting for the center’s newly completed annex building.

Director Justin Marler described the annex as a lengthy project, reflecting years of planning and effort.

A decision was made to build the annex building.

Marler said another need help make this decision.

While the annex was professionally constructed, students at Unitec had the chance to participate in certain aspects of the building process, gaining hands-on experience alongside the construction team.

The open house gave visitors a close-up look at the diverse programs offered at Unitec, including technical training, career development, and specialized skill-building courses, emphasizing the center’s role in preparing students for the workforce.
