Crawford Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A wanted fugitive is in custody after eluding law enforcement for about a week in Crawford County.
Authorities say 32-year-old Dustin Bullock of Cuba was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Statutory Rape in the Second Degree. Deputies continued their search despite cold temperatures and snow-covered conditions, saying the challenging weather did not slow efforts to locate and safely apprehend Bullock. Officials credited cooperation among multiple agencies for the successful arrest, thanking the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their assistance during the investigation.
As part of the case, 34-year-old Lacy Holt of Cuba was also arrested on a charge of Hindering Prosecution. Law enforcement officials remind the public that assisting someone who is attempting to avoid arrest including concealing, harboring, or helping them flee can result in criminal charges.
Authorities say cooperation with law enforcement is critical to maintaining public safety and upholding the justice system.
