Your Next Step Job and Transfer Fair Set for Wednesday at Mineral Area College

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Students, job seekers, and anyone planning their next move are invited to attend the Your Next Step - College Transfer & Job Fair this week at Mineral Area College.

The event will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in The Quad on the campus of Mineral Area College. Organizers say the event will move to the Fieldhouse in the event of rain.

Alison Sheets, Career Services Director at Mineral Area College, says the fair gives attendees the opportunity to connect directly with potential employers while also exploring options to continue their education. Representatives from several four-year colleges are expected to be available to discuss transfer opportunities and help students determine what their next step may look like.

In addition to college representatives, a number of employers are also expected to attend the event. Grace Miller, Employment Specialist with the Park Hills Missouri Job Center, says many businesses will be there looking for their next employee.

Organizers say the event is designed to help people who are entering the workforce, considering a career change, or planning to continue their education after college.
