4 Day School Week Shows Positive Results

Caledonia, Mo. (KFMO) - Valley RVI School District officials report their 4 day school week will continue this year after the district experienced good results with the twist on the traditional 5 day week.

The Prinicpal of the elementary grades for Valley, Caleb Tifenauer, says one of the reasons for the change was teacher retention and recruitment and, of course, students like it too.

Tifenauer explains students attend classes Tuesday through Friday with instructional minutes from 7:45 a.m. to 3:32 p.m.
