Fredericktown, Mo. (KFMO) - The annual Azalea Festival has returned to Fredericktown, celebrating its 64th year with the theme “Red, White and Bloom” in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. Events are scheduled to continue through Sunday, May 3.
Festival organizer and board member Rhonda Denman says the event offers a wide range of activities designed for all ages. One of the highlights this year is a Ninja Warrior-style contest, adding an interactive and competitive element for attendees.
In addition to that event, festivalgoers can expect carnival rides, live musical entertainment throughout the weekend, and numerous food and craft vendors. The festival continues to be a long-standing tradition in the area, drawing families and visitors together each year.
