Accident Monday in Iron County

(Iron County, MO) A woman from Collinsville, Illinois, 45 year old Khristie R. Gable, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was hurt in a two vehicle crash in Iron County Monday afternoon just before 3 o'clock. Highway Patrol reports show Gable was driving an SUV east on Iron County Road 31, 4 miles east of Belleview, when her SUV crossed over the center line crashing head on into a pick up driven west by 30 year old Richard S. Akin of Park Hills. Gable, who was not wearing a seat belt during the crash, was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington. Akin was not injured.
