Blunt Speaks Against Democratic Plan

(Washington, DC) Missouri United States Senator, Roy Blunt, is speaking out against the Democrat's tax and spend efforts noting no Republican would support raising the debt limit to fund a $3.5 trillion partisan wish list that raises taxes on Americans. Blunt spoke on the Senate floor saying over the last nine months no Republicans have been involved in the process of deciding what the government would spend money on.

Blunt also says the spending bill from Democrats includes $8 billion for a new Civilian Climate Corps and $7 billion to buy electric vehicles for the Postal Service. It also comes with $105 million for entrepreneurial training for people who are currently, or have just been, incarcerated. There's also $5 million worth of funding for electronic voting systems for union elections.
