Charges Over Destruction of Decorations

(House Springs, MO) A House Springs man, 37 year old Patrick Clayton, is being charged with Property Damage in the 1st Degree for allegedly ruining the light display at House Springs Park. Jefferson County Sheriff, Dave Marshak, says the Christmas decorations were destroyed and a Road Patrol Deputy began the investigation December 13th. The case was then turned over to the Detective Bureau. Clayton was arrested by a Deputy on the 17th, and the charge was issued after he was interviewed by a Detective. Clayton is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $10,000 surety bond. Marshak says he would like to thank Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney Trisha Stefanski, and her office, for their quick work to move forward with charges in the case.
