Farmington Council Approves Utility Assistance

(Farmington, MO.) Farmington residential utility customers will be able to get assistance on their bill if they've been furloughed or have a loss of income due to the COVID19 virus. City Council members met in special session to approve the measure and City Administrator, Greg Beavers, says they're trying to help people deal with the economic impact of the virus.

Beavers also says  payment agreements for commercial customers have been deferred as well. Late payment and reconnect fees during normal business hours will be waived. For more information on the application process call Farmington City Hall at 73-756-1701.
