Farmington Teenager Killed in Accident

(St. Francois County, MO.) A teenager from Farmington, 18 year old Wyatt M. Hampton, is dead after he was involved in a one vehicle wreck Sunday morning in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol reports indicate Hampton was driving south at 1835 Highway AA, at 9:30, when he lost control of his S.U.V. and it ran off the right side of the road. Hampton overcorrected and the truck ran off the left side of the road. It smashed into an embankment and rolled over. He was not wearing his seat belt when the accident took place.  Hampton was pronounced dead at the scene. The pick up was totaled.
