For Summer Health Stay Cool

(Park Hills, MO) St. Francois County Health Center officials remind us to stay cool as Missouri gets closer to summer time heat and high humidity.

The Environmental Public Health Specialist and Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Health Center, Donovan Kleinberg, says a heat related illness usually comes in four stages, with the first two stages a minor treatment is needed yet with the other two are more sever.

According to Kleinberg if you see anyone who may be red in the face, exhausted, or have a slower response time while working or playing in the heat, call 911 and get help immediately.
