Fredericktown Man in Court Over Kidnapping Charge

(St. FRancois County, MO.) A man from Fredericktown, 27 year old Donald Webb, will have a confined docket hearing today in St. Francois County court over charges of kidnapping in the first degree, first degree burglary, assault, armed criminal action, tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution, and unlawful use of a weapon, after allegedly entering an apartment in Bonne Terre Sunday, in the 100 block of North Allen Street, approaching a woman, and telling her he was going to kill her for being a snitch. During the incident two visitors to the apartment arrived and Webb is said to have fired a shot and fled in a black vehicle. He was apprehended and booked into the St. Francois County jail. Webb has been in trouble with the law before having several past convictions including third degree assault, and second degree domestic assault.
