Get Ready for Winter Weather Travel

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - With the possibility of winter weather we should be prepared for winter travel emergencies.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Corporal Dallas Thompson, says sometimes just cold temperatures can cause breakdowns and other problems.

According to Thompson, slow down if road conditions are slick and always keep something in your trunk to provide traction if needed. An emergency kit containing everything from jumper cables to food to chains, gravel, or sand can be helpful in vehicle winter emergencies.
