Great Mines Health Center Opens New Location in Farmington

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Great Mines Health Center has officially opened its brand new clinic on Maple Street.

To celebrate the occasion, the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting at the new location on Friday. Members of staff gathered with community leaders and local politicians as they received a tour of the new facility.

CEO Gregory Roebuck says the new building provides several advantages over its previous location.

Great Mines Health Center is a not-for-profit health center that receives federal funding, and serves those without insurance as well as those on Medicare or Medicaid. When Roebuck took over as CEO in 2017, the company employed 35 staff members.

Today, it has expanded to over 100, necessitating a move into the new building to better serve its patients.
