Harvest Moon Shining Tonight

(St. Francois County, MO) The Harvest Moon will shine tonight. Dan Holiday, of  The Old Farmer's Almanac, says the moon illusion takes place as the moon rises making it look much larger than it is.

According to Holiday we will have two full moons in October. Following the Harvest Moon a Blue Moon will take place Halloween night. Listen for the Old Farmer's Almanac Report on AM 1240, KFMO.
