Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Parkland saw significant snowfall this past weekend as a major winter storm moved through the region, bringing heavy snow and hazardous travel conditions.
According to snowfall reports, Fredericktown recorded the highest accumulation with approximately 14.5 inches of snow. Farmington and Irondale each reported around 12 inches, while Knob Lick saw totals near 11 inches. Pilot Knob reported around 10 inches of snowfall. Additional totals included 9 inches in both Leadwood and Potosi.
The widespread accumulation led to slick roadways, difficult travel, and ongoing cleanup efforts across much of the area. Road crews worked throughout the weekend to clear highways and secondary roads, and residents are reminded to use caution when traveling as snow removal efforts continue across the Parkland.
