Juror Wants Another Look in Politte Case

(Park Hills, MO) A local woman, who was a juror in the murder trial of Michael Politte, Linda Dickerson Bell, says she felt pressured into voting guilty and wants a review of the case. Current forensic tests have shown a key piece of state evidence appears to be inaccurate. Politte's lawyers have filed a petition with the Missouri Supreme Court saying he is innocent of the crime. Politte was accused of setting his mother on fire when he was 14 years old.  Be sure to tune in The Start morning radio show on AM 1240, KFMO Monday morning at 7:20 for our exclusive interview with Linda Dickerson Bell and stay with KFMO B104 News for more details.
