MAC Trustees Hear Reports at Meeting

(Park HIlls, MO) Members of the Mineral Area College Board of Trustees are pleased with the reports given at Thursday's board meeting. The President of the College, Dr. Joe Gilgour, gave a presentation on 2020 and 2021 and what the time has been like at MAC. Gilgour says how the college responded to the COVID19 crisis stands as proof of how hard faculty, administration, and staff worked to keep the school going.

In other business at the MAC Board meeting trustees approved the formation of a redistricting committee. MAC is one of the few community colleges in the state whose board is made of members from separate districts within the college coverage area. Most Community college's in Missouri elect their board members at large with no districts applied.
