Make Sure Children Aren't Left in Hot Vehicles

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - During hot weather, we should always be sure to keep children safe when taking them with us on a trip.

An Area Engineer with the Missouri Department of Transportation, Corbin Carlton, says there are 3 things to avoid in keeping children safe when temperatures are high.

According to Carlton, hot car deaths are the leading cause of non-crash, vehicle-related deaths for children 14 and younger.
