Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Ground was broken Wednesday at Maplebrook by Americare for a new Independent Living Apartments project.
Jeannie Getz, Senior Living Advisor at Maplebrook, says the addition will give residents the chance to transition into the Maplebrook community before needing assisted living.
Executive Director Melissa Carroll says the project has been years in the making and marks a major step forward for the facility.
The new apartments are expected to open by next summer.
